Mercyrise

Privacy Policy

Last updated: October 21, 2026

Mercyrise (“the app”) is made by Infinivue Inc. (“we”). Your faith life is personal, so we keep as little as possible. This policy explains exactly what the app does with your information.

The short version

1. Information stored only on your device

These stay on your phone and are never uploaded to us:

Deleting the app deletes all of this. We can’t recover it.

2. Information sent when you use AI features

When you open your daily plan or send a message in Ask, the app sends our server:

Your onboarding answers can include sensitive things, such as your religious tradition or that you are dealing with grief, anxiety or health problems. We use them only to write your reflection, prayer or reply.

Our server passes this to OpenAI, which writes the response. Under OpenAI’s API terms, this data isn’t used to train its models. OpenAI may keep it for up to 30 days for abuse and safety monitoring (longer only if the law requires it), then deletes it. We don’t store your messages on our server.

3. Usage limits and security

To prevent abuse and control costs, our server counts AI requests per day for each random app ID and for each internet address. Internet addresses are stored only as a one-way, scrambled code, never as the address itself. These counters are deleted automatically after 7 days. Our server is hosted by Supabase in the United States.

4. Subscriptions

Payments are handled by Apple (App Store) or Google (Google Play). We never see your card details. We use RevenueCat to check whether your subscription is active. RevenueCat receives an anonymous app user ID and your purchase history for Mercyrise. It doesn’t receive your name, journal or messages.

5. Permissions

6. Crisis messages

If a message suggests you may be in danger, the app shows crisis resources such as the 988 Suicide & Crisis Lifeline. That check happens on your phone. We don’t report, flag or share these messages with anyone.

7. Children

Mercyrise is not directed to children under 13, and we don’t knowingly collect information from them. If you believe a child has used AI features, contact us and we will help.

8. Your choices and rights

9. Changes

If this policy changes, we’ll update this page and the date above. Important changes will also be shown in the app.
